Message from Joy! I want you to feel empowered to create the space that works for you, to have a schedule that feels manageable, to be surrounded by those who are building you up, and to truly live the life that God has called you to live.

🎉My new children’s book! 🥰 Teddy and Tabby Declutter and Clean Their Room! 🐹

I have NEWS! 🥳 I wrote a children's book Teddy and Tabby Declutter and Clean Their Room!  Join the two main characters, Teddy and Tabby, two adorable Guinea pigs who want to go on adventures outside and in their backyard, but struggle to find the equipment that they need because their room is too cluttered.  🤯Join them on their journey as they declutter their room and learn the process of letting things go! 😄

This book encourages children to declutter and provides instructions on how to do it!👍  Feel free to remove the teaching page (pg. 28) and put on the refrigerator, in a child's room,in a playroom or basement or wherever!  Your children can keep their goals in front of their eyes when they declutter!🎉

Thank you all again for your support on this decluttering journey! I appreciate you all and I hope you enjoy the book!  It can be found on Amazon! 🤩

How Two of You got started!

The name of my business came from the phrase that I often told my husband when I was overwhelmed with things to do: I wish there were two of me! I said this phrase so often that my husband began to jokingly ask me "don’t you wish there were two of you?” before I could even get the words out. When my busy schedule began to impact my physical and mental health, the joke of wanting two of me was no longer funny; it became serious. I finally took to heart Henry Ford’s quote which says “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” Well, I got tired of getting what I “already got," made some changes, and learned some life-transforming lessons in the process.

Here are a few of the lessons that I have learned:

  • Getting enough sleep, taking vitamins, making healthy food choices, exercising, having time for myself, and relaxing is required, not optional.

  • Sometimes I must skip events or say no to “opportunities” and that’s ok.

  • I must make wise decisions for myself because no one else can make them for me.

Pretty awesome lessons, right?

These changes helped me feel better about myself, refocus my priorities, and establish clearer boundaries. Now I only need one of me to accomplish what I need to do each day and I am thrilled! (Aren’t you curious about what you will learn as you declutter your space, time, and mind?)
